National Volunteer Week (NVW) is an annual celebration to acknowledge the generous contribution of our nation's volunteers.
Thousands of activities will be held across the country to say thank you to the 6 million Australians who volunteer their time. The week-long celebration will include social media campaigns, breakfasts, morning/afternoon teas, and luncheons, as well as open days, award ceremonies, picnics, forums and training sessions.
NATIONAL VOLUNTEER WEEK 16 – 22 May 2022
The theme for National Volunteer Week 2022 is Better Together.
Volunteering brings people together; it builds communities and creates a better society for everyone. National Volunteer Week is a chance for all of us to celebrate and recognise the vital work of volunteers and to say thank you.
Together, through volunteering, we are changing communities for the better. We are, Better Together.
Bunbury SES appreciates the support of Volunteering WA and Lotterywest in helping our dedicated volunteers celebrate National Volunteer Week 2022. Thank you to Lotterywest for funding our celebration of volunteers and their important contribution to our communities.
